Ph.D. in Information Science by University of Brasilia (2003) with a doctoral stage at University of Montreal (2002-2003), M.Sc. in Communication by University of Sao Paulo (1997), and Bachelor in Library and Documentation by University of Sao Paulo (1992). Professor and a researcher full-time in universities since 1994, including University of Sao Paulo (since August 2005), University of Brasilia (1996-2005), and Federal University of Sao Carlos (1994-1996). Associate Researcher at University of Campinas (2010-2013), and Visiting Professor at the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University (2011-2012), and at University of Malaga (2000). Author of papers, books, book chapters, communication in events, and texts in newspapers and magazines. Advisor for scientific initiation, graduation work, specialization, master’s and doctor’s degrees. Referee for several journals in the fields of Information Sciences and Health Information. Interests include: Health information, health technology, evidence based health, health records, health terminology, social media, responsible innovation, frugal innovation. Place of speech: Brazilian, white, and neurodivergent woman, married and mother of twins Cássia and Nicolas, currently 21 years old.
